The picture on the front of the box is so reminiscent of the disaster, with the stormy seas, the oil rig and an overall sense of doom. I was just knocked over by how relevant this game is, despite being made some 35 years ago, to BP’s troubles today.

I have a few favorite game series. I place Fallout at #1, Metroid comes in at #2. I’m very happy to see they keep this title going, and it keeps getting better. I was skeptical when it made the jump to 3d on the Gamecube, but Retro Studios did a GREAT job. The latest iteration is due out in 2010, and looks amazing. Ninja studios went for more of a 2d / 3d feel, and much more up-close and personal fighting style. This is going to be a MUST HAVE for your Wii!
Left 4 Dead is a zombie shoot ‘em up, LOTS of zombies, LOTS of shooting. I think it may be a little one dimensional, but its good for killing (no pun) time. I’m hoping for a little more depth in the sequel, and maybe some better zombie sniping levels. The trailer is out, and the graphics are looking good!
